Oklahoma County Jail Mugshots

That supports careful wording: the roster platform is designed to display Oklahoma County jail mugshots or offender images when OCDC publishes them for a current inmate profile. It does not prove that every booking record has a photo visible to the public at all times.
OCDC also lists "Images" as a public-records request category, along with past booking information and intake records. That matters when a current profile does not show a photo, when a person has already left the current roster, or when the browser cannot load the Blazor JailTracker app. A booking photo is a jail record held by the originating agency. It is separate from the Oklahoma County court docket, which tracks charges, hearings, warrants, bond entries, and case results after an arrest.
The county research did not locate an official OCDC rule stating a fixed mugshot retention period on the public roster. Avoid fixed claims such as a photo staying public for a set number of hours or days. Current custody should be checked through the roster first. Request Oklahoma County Booking Photos
The most direct path starts with the OCDC homepage and its Inmate Search link. The roster metadata says the Oklahoma County search requires a name search and is set for current inmates. Search by last name or alias first, add a first name for common names, complete CAPTCHA if it appears, then open the matching profile to see whether an offender image is available.

- Review the name and book date in the grid before opening a profile.
- Look for the image or photo area in the profile, plus the charges, cases, and bond fields shown with the booking.
- If no image appears, email records@okcountydc.net and identify the request as an open-records request for an OCDC booking image.
- Include the full name, date of birth if known, booking date, and ArrestNo or booking number if known.
OCDC records requests can also be sent through the contact form on the jail website. The inspected form shows fields for first name, last name, phone, email, and message, with an instruction to include inmate names when applicable. The research did not locate an official photo fee, turnaround time, or ID rule, so those details should be confirmed with OCDC rather than assumed.
Oklahoma County Mugshot Fields
Booking photos are usually read with the rest of the jail profile. In Oklahoma County, the official field definitions show a roster grid and profile tabs rather than a stand-alone mugshot gallery. The field list below is based on official JailTracker JavaScript and OCDC records categories. Some fields may be hidden in a specific public view, and the live interface can vary by browser session.

The public should treat a mugshot as an intake image, not proof that the listed charge was filed or proved in court. Oklahoma County Mugshot Law
Oklahoma public-records law is the reason booking data can be requested even when it is not all displayed online. OCDC cites the Oklahoma Open Records Act in its open-records block, and it names past booking information, images, and intake records as request topics. The law does not require the jail to keep every booking photo online forever. It also does not erase redactions or confidentiality rules that may apply to some records.

Because photographs can be public records when created or kept by a public body, a request can ask for a booking image. The better request names the person, the approximate booking date, and any booking or arrest number from JailTracker. If the case was dismissed, sealed, or expunged, the person should deal with the court clerk, the originating agency, and legal counsel instead of relying on unofficial photo-removal claims.
What Oklahoma County Photos Show
Public booking-photo access is narrower than many searchers expect. The Oklahoma County roster can show current custody records and image fields when those parts of the profile are enabled. OCDC records can process requests for images, intake records, and past booking data. Court portals show case data after charges are filed, but they are not mugshot databases.
What is public: Oklahoma County booking images may be visible on a current JailTracker profile or requestable from OCDC records. Federal locators, ICE ODLS, and Oklahoma court dockets should not be treated as county mugshot sources.
A person in state prison is searched through the Oklahoma Department of Corrections offender lookup. ODOC photos, if shown, are state prison records and not the same as an OCDC booking photo. A person in federal custody is searched through the BOP locator, whose public result fields include name, register number, age, race, sex, release date, and location, but not a public booking-photo field. ICE ODLS is for immigration custody location, not jail mugshots.
Oklahoma County Photo Retention
The research did not locate an official Oklahoma County rule stating exactly how long a booking photo remains visible after release. The roster metadata says the current public setup is current-inmates-only, while the older interface contains controls for Current Inmates, Released Inmates, and All when exposed. That means released-person photos may not stay visible in the same way current-inmate images do.
When the person is no longer on the current roster, the next path is the OCDC open-records process. Ask for the image as a past booking record. If the jail has redacted or withheld part of the file, request the legal reason from the agency. If the issue is a sealed or expunged case, the court record must be addressed through the court system. A jail roster change alone does not rewrite the court docket.
Note: Verify the current custody status with OCDC before assuming a missing image means the person was never booked.
Oklahoma County Mugshot Removal
No local OCDC policy for removing booking photos after release, dismissal, or expungement was located in the official pages reviewed. Oklahoma sealing or expungement may affect access to court and law-enforcement records, but the research did not locate a specific Oklahoma statute to quote for mugshot removal. The practical route is to address the underlying record with the court clerk and the originating agency, then ask OCDC records how the order affects jail images.
Commercial mugshot sites and pay-to-remove offers are outside the official record path. They are not needed to find Oklahoma County booking photos, and they are not a substitute for a court order or agency records response. When a criminal case is dismissed, amended, deferred, or expunged, the public case history should be checked through official court channels before any claim is made about what must disappear from public view.

State Federal and ICE Photos
Oklahoma County has more than one custody layer. The Oklahoma County Detention Center handles county jail bookings, which are the source of OCDC mugshots and booking-image requests. Clara Waters Community Corrections Center is an ODOC community-corrections facility, so sentenced state inmates there are searched through ODOC. Federal Transfer Center Oklahoma City is a BOP transfer center near Will Rogers World Airport, and federal prisoners there are searched through the BOP locator.
ICE custody is separate again. If a person has an immigration detainer while still in OCDC, the county profile may show a hold or detainer field when the jail records it. After a transfer to immigration custody, the ICE Online Detainee Locator System is the correct custody search. ODLS is not a mugshot source and should not be used to infer a county booking image.
